David A. Denton, age 81, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at his home under the care of his loving family and Georgia Hospice Care. He was born on October 26, 1943, in Detroit Michigan to Lambert Causby and Glothine Lula Hanke Denton and had lived in Liberty County most of his life.
A proud United States Army Veteran, David's commitment to his country laid the foundation for a robust career. David's personality was one that brought smiles to many. A renowned jokester, he never failed to light up a room with laughter. His playful spirit created joyous moments that will be fondly remembered.
He was a devoted grandfather who cherished spending time with his grandchildren, particularly enjoying rides on the golf cart and engaging in simple yet meaningful pastimes like splitting wood.
