David Carl “Carlie” Murray,

Alma, Ga.

Low Country Cremation and Burial announces the death of David C. Murray, age 68 of Alma who passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2023 at Community Hospice and Palliative Care in Jacksonville, FL.   Carlie was born on December 15, 1955 to the late Walter (Buck) and Helen Maudine Todd Murray.  He was born, lived and raised in Alma.   He loved the outdoors, fishing, water skiing, watching western movies, and he loved his family and friends.  Carlie was a plumber by trade.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Norwood, Glenn and Harold Murray and sister, Patricia Murray.

Left to cherish his memories are his daughters, Rosanna Murray and Patricia Wentworth, sons, Frederick and David Murray, a sister, Tammy Murray, Lyons, and a brother, Jimmy Murray, Lyons. 

A private service will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice.
