Glennville,
David Donise Tootle, 63, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2013, at Carl Vincent VA Medical Center in Dublin. The Glennville native was reared in Miami, moving back to Glennville in 1977. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving as a Medic in the US Air Force and was a member of the Disabled Veterans of America. Donise was a Miami Dolphin fan and loved to fish. He was a member of the Church of Christ and was preceded in death by his parents, D.A. and Helen Tootle and a sister, Lynette Tootle.
He is survived by his life long love and the mother of his children, JoAnn Tootle of Glennville; two sons and daughter-in-law, David Tootle (Kris Sommers) and Scott and Stephanie Tootle, all of Glennville; three grandchildren, Curt Tootle of Austin, Tyler Tootle and Nathan Tootle (Emily Hupp) all of Glennville; two nephews.
Visitation will begin 6 p,m. Tuesday, from the Glennville Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday from the Glennville Chapel of the Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors.
Pallbearers will be Eddie King, Jr, Tommy Godwin, Curt Tootle, Tyler Tootle, Nathan Tootle and Mark Taber
Honorary pallbearers will be Buster King, Robert Lopez, Curtis King and Mike King
Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home, Glennville Chapel is serving the Tootle family.
