David Willis

David Willis , age 51, passed away Friday, December 26, 2014 unexpectedly at his residence.  The Toombs County native had lived in Reidsville most of his life.  He was retired from the Construction Industry.  David was a Captain with the Reidsville Fire Department, a member of the Tattnall County EMA and was a first responder for the Tattnall County EMS.  He loved to fish and hang out at Clyde’s across from the courthouse.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Louise Willis; brother, Carlton Willis; and a sister, Melba Langston.

David is survived by his sons, Logan Willis (Haley Wright) and Chance Kirkland all of Reidsville; siblings, James (Eileen) Willis, Howard (Libby) Willis all of Reidsville, Curtis (Hilda) Willis of Gray, Geraldine Davis of Lyons, Arley Bo Willis, Charles “Humpy” Willis, Ronnie (Betty) Willis, and Ricky (Cindy) Willis all of Reidsville; Uncle, Rick Woodcock of Reidsville; grandchild, Kiersten Kirkland; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends on Monday beginning at 6:00pm from the funeral home.  Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am, Tuesday December 30, 2014 from the Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home & Crematory with the Reverend Tommy Williams officiating.  Interment will follow in the Reidsville City Cemetery with full firefighter rites to be rendered.

Honorary Pallbearers will be all emergency personnel.
