Deidre Gadson

Deidre Gibson Gadson was born on April 17th, 1977, to Owen Gibson III and the late Loreen Gibson of Cobbtown, GA. Deidre entered into rest on August 18, 2024, at her home. Deidre was a 1995 graduate of Metter High School. She met the love of her life in 1998. They married in 2000 and were married 24 years; and to this union a son and daughter was born. Dosjan Gadson and Akemi Gadson.

Deidre was known for her kindness, loving personality and always had a beautiful smile of her face. She enjoyed cooking, loved shopping, traveling, listening to music, relaxing, but more than anything she enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved being a mom so much. She was employed at Walmart in Vidalia, GA as a cashier.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lorene Gibson, and brother Travis Gibson.

 She leaves to cherish many precious memories a loving husband, James Gadson, two children, Dosjan and Akemi Gadson of Cobbtown, GA. Father, Owen Gibson III of Cobbtown; Three aunts, Rosetta Williams, Judy Smith, and Tracy Ayedeun (Sunday) all of Twin City, GA. A mother and law, Lula Marshall (David) of Twin City, GA. Three brother -in-laws, Tyrone (Martina) of Hinesville, GA, Terence (Nicole) of Martinez, GA, and Mark (Camisha) of Summertown, GA and one sister-in-law, Tonya Gadson-Brown (Johnny) of Clarksville, TN and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am on Friday, August 23, 2024 at Sam Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Metter with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery.
