She was born October 19, 1942 in Hagan to Oscar Vincent and Dessie Ann Sapp Gibbs and lived most of her life in Evans County. Above all though, she cherished the time that she was able to spend with her grandchildren. To say that she loved her family would be an understatement, even her hobbies of cooking and sewing were in service to her family. She is survived by her loving husband, Gene Sapp of Claxton; children, Laura Ann Waters (Craig)Austin of Jacksonville, FL, Cynthia Waters Pialzza of Fayetteville, GA, Kara Waters (Phillip) Ratley of State Road, NC, Nita Waters (Andy) Callaway of Metter, and William “Bill” (Marsha Ann) Waters of Hagan; step children, Tracey Stanfield of Claxton, Ronnie (Laura) Sapp of Bellville, Tara (Eric) Eason of Manassas and Ryan (Audra) Sapp of Reidsville; 21 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
