Donna Michelle Williams, age 48, passed away Sunday, September 27, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.  She was born February 29, 1972 in Lyons and had lived in Toombs County most of her life.  In October 2006, she received her nursing license and was eager to begin her career caring for others.  Donna would serve the needs of countless residents of both Tattnall Nursing Care and Pleasant View Nursing Home.  After stressful days, one of her favored hobbies was reading.  Among her favorites were novels by Steven King, Ann Rule, and VC Andrews. Sunny days would inevitably draw Donna outdoors where she would nurture her rose garden or slip off to go fishing late in the evenings.  In other hobbies, she considered herself an ever-learning cook; always trying new recipes and baking various cakes.  Donna loved helping and caring for people, she loved God’s creation in the outdoors, and she loved her family deeply.  One whom brought so much light into the world, and now her light shines on even in her absence, she will be deeply missed.  Donna is preceded in death by parents, Alan W. Colson, Sr., and Marcia Denise (Ricky) Peebles and her grandparents, James M. and Mary Craft.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Williams; children, Amber (Kenny Butler) Davis, Andrew James Edenfield and Colby Williams; an uncle that was more like a brother, Darryl (Dianne) Craft; a grandson, Jonathan Kain Davis; brothers, Alan W. Colson, Jr. and James “Jesse” Colson; several nieces and nephews

Memorial funeral services will be conducted 4:00pm Sunday October 4, 2020 from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial with Reverend Shane Mosely officiating.

Donna loved to receive plants or memorials may be given to Tattnall Healthcare Activities Department or Pleasant View Nursing Home Activities Department.
