Doris Emmagene Eason, age 71 passed away Monday February 8, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Bethany Hospice. She was born June 15, 1949 in Brushy Pond Alabama to Carl and Evelyn Campbell.  She had lived in Chatham County most of her life, moving to Collins 21 years ago.  She served as an educator with the Chatham County School Board of Education for many years.  Mrs. Doris’ hobbies included raising children and grandchildren.  She was a member of the Reidsville Church of God and is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ramond Eason; two sons Robert and Lee Eason.

She is survived by her son, David Eason of Ellabell; sisters, Willa Dean Price of Alabama and Eulene Campbell of Collins; and six grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, beginning at 6:00 pm, at the funeral home. Services will be conducted, Wednesday February 10, 2021, 2:00 pm at Reidsville Church of God with Reverend William Prince officiating. Mrs. Doris will lie in state at the Church, from 1:00-2:00 pm.

Interment will follow at the Reidsville City Cemetery.
