Dorlan Farmer

Williamston, SC.

Mr. Dorlan Farmer, age 57, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Metter, GA.  The Anderson County native had lived in Williamston most of his life until recently moving to Metter.  He had a passion for music and was a song writer.  Dorlan is preceded in death by his parents, Dewey Lee and Jennie Ruth Farmer.

He leaves to cherish his memory a son, Jeffery Farmer of Williamston; sisters, Barbara Stewart of Pelzer, SC, Abbie Eaton and Marylend Farmer both of Piedmont, SC, and Loretta Andrews of Pelzer, SC; brother,  Dewey Lee Farmer, Jr. of Pelzer; special niece, Kerry Weldon of Piedmont, SC;  three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; several other nieces and nephews also survive.

A family memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Low Country Cremation Services and Burial is serving the Farmer family.
