Obituary

Dorothy Groover age 85 of Glennville passed away Monday, December 17, 2012 at Evans Memorial Hospital in Claxton. Mrs. Dorothy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was employed at Glenvue Nursing Home for over 20 years and was known as a fantastic cook. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack "Tollie" Groover.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Roy and Mary Groover of Reidsville; daughter, Gloria Crissler of Columbus, GA; brother, Albert Weathers of El Paso, TX; sister, Sula Wilson of Glennville;  Also survived by 8 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces. nephews and numerous other relatives.

Visitation and Funeral Services

Visitation will begin at 6:00pm Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home, Glennville Chapel.

Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00am Thursday, December 20, 2012 from the Glennville Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home with the Reverend Bryan Anderson officiating. Interment will be in Harmony United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Walt Hill, David Brock, Aaron Brock, Brock E. Brock, Charlie Edwards, Timmy Dubberly.
