Douglas (Doug) Rush, age 66, of Reidsville GA passed away at his home on Sunday May 10, 2015.  The Spaulding County Georgia native was born February 26, 1949 to William Marion and Lilly Mae McElory Rush.  He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers; Ed Rush, Marvin Rush, Charles Rush and Frank Rush; a sister Betty McElroy.

Left to mourn his memory are his wife Carol Ellington Rush of Reidsville; sons, Chad (Suzanne) Foster of Griffin GA and Chuck Rush of Reidsville GA; daughter, Jennifer Rush of Reidsville GA; 3 grandchildren, CJ Foster, Lindsey Foster, and Travis Rush; brother John (Glenda) Rush of Reidsville GA; sisters, Eva Mae (Doug) Norton of Meanville GA and Norma Jean Fuller of Thomaston GA; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends also survive.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00am Saturday May 23, 2015 at the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Milner, GA.
