Dwayne Friend , age 41, passed away Monday October 31, 2011 at his residence. The Albany native had lived in Reidsville most of his life moving to Hagan two years ago. He worked for Claxton Poultry and Walmart. He was a member of the New Beginning Church of God in Lyons. Dwayne is preceded in death by his parents, Henry P. and Jackie Friend.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Friend of Hagan

Children, Anthony, Danielle’,and  Alyssa Friend all of Reidsville

One granddaughter, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will begin at 6:00pm on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 from the Reidsville Chapel.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm Thursday November 3, 2011 from the Reidsville Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home with the Reverends Mike Smith and Rodney Gibbs officiating. Interment will follow in the Anderson Church Cemetery.
