Obituary
Earl “DD” Cartmell, Jr
. age 47 passed away Saturday,
September 18, 2010 at his residence. The Kansas native
had lived in this area for the past fifteen years and loved to fish.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Carolyn Cartmell of Reidsville. Step Children,
Thomas and Janell Grubbs of Rincon, Dawn and David Wheeler of Bloomingdale.
Parents, Earl Carmtell of Kansas and Virginia Hill of Missouri. Brothers, Coy, Vincent
and Roma Cartmell all of Kansas. Sister, Carmalita Cartmell of Arkansas.
Half sisters, Rachel Cartmell and Jolene Keating both of Kansas. Step siblings, Penny
Dial, Nancy Testan, John Ryan, Rose Ryan, Vincent Ryan and Candy Silbaugh
all of Kansas. Six grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation and Funeral Services
Visitation will begin at 6:00pm Wednesday from the Reidsville Chapel.
Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00pm Thursday, September 23, 2010 from the
Reidsville Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home with the Reverends William
and Linda Prince officiating. Interment will follow in the Wells Cemetery in Liberty County.
Pallbearers will be John Herb, Jr., William Testan, Kenny Testan, Greg Keck, Nathan Testan
and David Sheldon.
