Mr. Earl Lynn, age 86, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Glenvue Health and Rehabilitation surrounded by his family.  The Tattnall county native had lived in Glennville all of his life.  A retired carpenter, Mr. Lynn especially enjoyed fishing, tending to his pigs and his garden.  He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.  Mr. Lynn is preceded in death by his parents, Dennis and Cassie Lynn; siblings, Annie Mae Anderson, Marvin Lynn, Maybell Kicklighter, Orabell Blocker, Winton Lynn, Brinton Lynn and Daniel Lynn.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mrs. Lavonia Lynn of Glennville; children, Helon (James) McDaniel of Baxley, James (Teresa) Lynn of Reidsville, Danny (Debbie) Lynn, Sandra (Dana) Simmons all of Glennville, Ricky (Tyra) Lynn of Bloomingdale and Brenda Faye (Mike) Strickland of Savannah; sisters, Evelyn Lynn and Letha Byrum both of Glennville; 18 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at 6:00pm, Monday, August 12, 2013 from the Glennville Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am Tuesday, August 13, 2013 from the Glennville Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home with the Reverends Jimmy Bargeron and Bryan Anderson officiating.  Interment will follow in the Glennville City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mark McDaniel, Terry Anderson, Scott Lynn, Sonny Odum, Bryan Dixon, Jordan Strickland.

Memorials may be given to Glenvue Health and Rehabilitation Activities Department at 721 North Veterans Boulevard, Glennville, GA 30427 or Advantage Hospice at 7A Allen-Cail Road, Statesboro, GA 30458.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to the nursing staff of Glenvue Health and Rehabilitation for the special care given to Mr. Lynn.
