Edna Louise Ellis Mihalovic Wise Miller

Edna Louise Miller died on November 25, 2016 at Bayview Manor in Beaufort, SC. She was born on April 22, 1927 in Washington Township, Erie County Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Fred Richard and Alpha Florence Abbott Ellis. Edna worked at General Electric as a keypunch operator until she retired in 1988. She moved to Tavares, Fl. and then to Athens, GA. in 2002. In 2015 she moved to South Carolina. She was an avid walker and loved to vacation throughout the United States. She was preceded in death by a son, Roger Alan Mihalovic on November 9, 1955; her husbands, Milton Carl Miller, March 17, 2008 and Cecil Banks Wise, August 19, 1991; 3 brothers, Lester, Reed and Robert Ellis; her sister, Ellen Roan.

She is survived by her sons, Larry Robert Mihalovic and wife Nancy of Bluffton, SC. and Joseph Lee Mihalovic of Titusville, PA; 4 grandchildren, Jennifer Mihalovic of Edinboro, PA., Laura Mihalovic Kavtaradze of Atlanta, GA., Joana Mihalovic and Julie Napierkowski both of Erie, PA; 8 great-grandchildren, Tyler and Beau Caro, Olivia and Boris Kavtaradze, Robert Mihalovic, Morgan, Jeremy and Mark Napierkowski.

Many thanks to St. Luke’s Hospice and Bayview Memorial staff who so lovingly cared for her during her time with them.

A celebration of her life will be held at Franklin Center Methodist Church, Edinboro, PA. at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Luke’s Missionary Hospice, 16 William Pope Drive, Suite 201, Bluffton, SC. 29909.
