Edward Earl Timler

Edward E. Timler, age 72 passed away Thursday, December 1, 2016. He was a native of Hamilton, Ohio, living there most of his life and moving to Lake Helen, Florida 5 years ago. Edward was a U.S. Navy veteran serving 3 tours in Vietnam. He was retired from the Lebanon Correctional Institution after 34 years of service. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, the VFW, Eagle’s Lodge and enjoyed shooting pool in his spare time. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Dorothy Cochran Timler; siblings, Barbara (Bob) Gentry, Linda (Charles) Abney, Thomas S. Timler, Mary Timler, Douglas Timler.

He is survived by his loving wife of 7 years, Cecilia Timler; children, Wanda (Rick) Roberts, Jamie (Lisa) Gillespie, Tim (Andrea) Gillespie, Carrie Gillespie, Edward Timler, Jr; siblings, Robert (Pat) Timler, Marie (Gilbert) Wyatt, Diane (Dale) Southard, William (Sandi) Timler, Richard (Kathy) Timler, Fred Timler, Tim (Angie) Timler; also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

A celebration of life will be held from 12:00pm-2:00pm, Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Kadens’ Cove and Yacht Club, 4983 Kennedy Camp Rd. Trenton, OH with military services rendered at 2:00pm.

Low Country Cremation Services and Burial is serving the Timler family.
