Reidsville
Eileen Spikes Willis, age 80, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Augusta University Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. The Florida native had lived in Reidsville for most of her life. She was a seamstress for over 40 years. After retiring as a seamstress, she then went to work for Hills Shopping Center. Ms. Eileen loved spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Felton and Beatrice Blitch Spikes; husband, James Willis; son, Carl Willis; siblings, Bobby Spikes, Jean Kersey, Wayne Spikes, Harry “Little Boy” Spikes and Nadine Toler.
She is survived by her daughter, Teresa (Henry Clark) Hutcheson of Reidsville; daughter-in-law, Dianne Willis of Reidsville; sister, Libby Willis of Reidsville; grandchildren, Pat (Sarah) Willis, Ron (Melissa) Clark, Shanna Clark, Crystal (Joey) Reynolds, Mandy (Dameon) Hall, Kelley Hutcheson, Russ (Brittany) Hutcheson, Jordy Willis and Tony (Deann) Willis; 16 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Visitation will begin Tuesday, 6:00pm at Low Country Cremation and Burial. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00pm Wednesday, March 29, 2017 from Connection Point Ministries with the Reverend John Price officiating. She will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Reidsville City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ronald Spikes, Donald Spikes, Lee Willis, Logan Willis, Terry Davis and Wes Cranford.
Low Country Cremation and Burial is serving the Willis Family.
