Elaine Ann (Turner) Londeree

Ms. Elaine Ann Londeree, age 74, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family.  The Detroit, Michigan native had lived in Claxton for the past thirty six years.  She was a faithful and loyal blessing to her family and to others throughout her lifetime.  She was also the owner of Elaine’s Daycare for twenty two years and kept children for the Department of Juvenile Justice for twenty four years.  She was a long time member of Calvary Baptist Church and she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Londeree and a daughter, Vickie Ann Londeree.

She is survived by her daughters, Connie (Tony) Toothman of Claxton, Carol (Rusty) Manning of Statesboro, and Lynn (Jerome) Dotson of Reidsville; brother, Ralph Turner of Tipton, MI; sister, Renee Brewer of Kalkaska, MI; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday at the Calvary Baptist Church in Claxton.  Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am, Wednesday, July 8, 2015, also at Calvary Baptist Church with the Reverends Marty Walker and Rusty Manning officiating.  A private interment will follow in the Brewton Cemetery in Hagan.

At the time of her death, she was being care for by Spanish Oaks Hospice.
