Eleanor "Ellie" MacQuesten, born on March 8, 1946, in Elizabeth, New Jersey, passed away at her home on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. She had lived for many years at Lake Hiawatha, NJ. until moving to Pennsylvania in 2007 and making her home in Reidsville in 2022.  She was a warmhearted individual who loved everyone and truly never met a stranger. Her kind spirit and joyful demeanor touched the lives of many throughout her years.

Eleanor dedicated 27 years of her life to Aeropanel Corp., retiring from a career that she approached with dedication and professionalism. Her memory will forever be cherished by those who had the pleasure of working alongside her, as well as by her dear friends.

Ellie was a passionate animal lover, particularly fond of her beloved cats. Her nurturing nature extended beyond her animals; she found great joy in spending time with her daughter, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime.

In her leisure time, Eleanor enjoyed a variety of hobbies. She delighted in word searches, reading, and watching television, often finding comfort and joy in the stories and characters that filled her days.

Ellie was a Presbyterian by faith and was preceded in death by her parents, James and Eleanor Huelsenbeck Dixon; her husband, Reginald MacQuesten; and her stepsons, Bill and Mike MacQuesten.

She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Kellie and Travis Carroll of Reidsville; her stepchildren, Reggie (Jeanette) MacQuesten of NY and Rita (Thomas) Reedy of Conn.;step daughters in law, Jayne and Donna MacQuesten of NJ; her grandsons, Brandan Bonefede and Jacob Carroll both of Reidsville; 5 step grandchildren and several step great grandchildren.

A private graveside service to honor her life will be held on January 13, 2025, at the First Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Rockaway, New Jersey.

Low Country Cremation and Burial has the honor to serve the family of Ms. Eleanor MacQuesten.
