Ellis Charles Miller, age 70, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2022 at his residence.  He was born on August 11, 1951 in Tampa, Florida to the parentage of Otis and Ruby Mae Morgan Miller and had lived in Miami many years moving to Reidsville in 2007. He was an US Army Veteran and was a roofer for over 28 years.  Mr. Miller enjoyed, soul food cooking, listening to music, raising dogs, doing puzzles and writing poetry.  His favorite things to say was “yeah!” and “Good Lord in the morning”.  He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Clifford Miller, Eddie Miller, and Verdi Miller.

He is survived by his children, Charles (Sabrina) Miller of Miami and Dedra (Calvin) Tyler of Miami/Reidsville; siblings, Artis (Angela) Miller of Miami, Kenneth Miller of Atlanta, Jeffrey (Sandra) Miller of Columbia, SC, and Odessa Miller of Miami; 12 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted 10:00am on Monday, April 11, 2022 at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville with military honors by the US Army and the Patriot Guard.
