Erika Jeanne Richards of Eastman, GA entered into peaceful slumber with her Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday, August 9th, 2020.  She is survived by her husband Donald Richards, daughter Amanda Pate, sons Stuart and Cameron Pate, grandchildren Addison Tanner and Abbigail Adamson, sister Kristin Tanner and brother Sam Olsen.  She was preceded in death by both parents, Samuel and Karen Olsen.  Erika moved to Eastman to be near family in 2013 from Tampa, FL and loved the small town she called home for several years.  She attended Cottondale Baptist Church with her husband.

Erika was a life-long learner and avid reader.  She especially loved reading her Bible and welcomed any chance to have deep, meaningful conversations about salvation and the redemption of the soul.  She was an LPN by training, but truly loved being a caretaker of animals most of all.  Her pups Daisy and Bug were her babies as she rescued them and they her.

Erika will be missed tremendously by those who knew her.  A memorial service in her honor will be held at a date to be announced shortly.
