Hilton Head Island,
Eston Taft Parker II passed on September 11, 2020, following a battle with several hard fought illnesses. He was a husband, father, friend, and a man who was larger than life. He loved his son, cigars, and the Miami Dolphins. He was born in Glennville, Georgia, and came to Hilton Head in 1986. He was a land surveyor, and a tobacconist, having owned the Smokestack of Hilton Head for 10 years. He was known for his sense of humor, his extensive knowledge of history, his love for outdoors and wildlife, his affinity for 48oz steaks, bourbon, and Cuban cigars. He was the son of Eston Taft Parker and Bertie Lue Parker. He was the husband of Maria Belbas Parker. He was the father of Eston Taft Parker III. He was loved and will be missed.
The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00am on Friday, September 18, 2020 with the funeral service to follow at 11:00am from the Chapel of Glennville Funeral Home with Father John Caparisos officiating. Interment will follow in the Watermelon Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Barry W. Ginn, Andrew Farbman, Eston Taft Parker III, Randy Donald Jones, Brennen S. Studenc, Burke Kennedy, and Evan Calabrese.
