Eugene Dale "T Bird" Stafford

Mr. Eugene Dale “T Bird” Stafford, age 59, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Jesup.  He was born May 25, 1962 in Dublin and had lived in Long County most of his life.  Dale was an Iron Worker employed with Daybreak Industrial.  His life centered on his family.  If it was at the beach, fishing, vacationing or cooking, Dale was the happiest when he was surrounded by his family.   He is preceded in death by his father, Bobby Eugene Stafford and a brother, Glenn Stafford.

T Bird is survived by his wife of 26 years, Karen King Stafford of Ludowici; his mother, JoAnn Stafford of Fleming; children, Bobby (Melissa) Stafford of Jesup, Krista Ryals of Phoenix City, AL, Christopher (Brittany) Haymons of Alamo, and Jennifer (Dusty) Amos of Ailey; brother, Tim Stafford of Fleming; grandchildren, Shay, Savannah, Morgan, Peanut, Kolben, Dalancy, Kamryn, Kaidence, Kaesyn, Kaisley, Jayden, John O, Remington, and Micah;  several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 18, 2021 beginning at 5:00pm at the funeral home.  Funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm Sunday, September 19, 2021 from the Chapel of Glennville Funeral Home with Mr. Tracy Hulvey officiating.  Interment will follow in the Baggs Cemetery in Ludowici.

Pallbearers will be Dusty Amos, Bobby Stafford, Kendall Theus, Tyler Deen, Bradley Morgan, and Travis Morgan.

Honorary pallbearers will be Wilton Morgan, Christopher Haymons and the employees of Daybreak Industrial.

Glennville Funeral Home is serving the Stafford family.
