Eula Evelyn (Rowe) Gibson

Ms. Eula “Evelyn” Gibson , age 79, passed away Friday, July 17, 2015 at the Glenvue Health and Rehab surrounded by her family.  The Evans County native had lived in Claxton most of her life.  She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.  Ms. Gibson loved to tend to her flowers and her animals.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Gibson and a son, Nathan Gibson.

She is survived by her sons, Harry David Gibson, Kenny (Penie) Gibson and Mark Anthony (Lisa) Gibson all of Claxton, and Matt (Bridget) Gibson of Glennville; ten grandchildren, and fifteen great  grandchildren.

The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00pm on Tuesday from the funeral home.  Funeral services will be conducted 10:00am, Wednesday, July 22, 2015 from the Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home and Crematory with the Rev. Ron Ross officiating.  Interment will follow in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Joey Summerall, Charlie Bryant, Adam Stubbs, Junior Holtsclaw, Matt Williams, and Avery Strickland.
