Eva Lee (Eason) Todd

Mrs. Eva L. Todd, daughter of  Will and Lizzy Jane Eason, passed away Wednesday July 24, 2013 at her residence at the age of 89.  On October 8, 1938, at the age of 14 she married Talmadge Todd and they remained married until his death in 2008.  The Collins native had lived in Toombs County before moving to Reidsville in 1966.   She was a homemaker that loved to work in her yard.  Mrs. Todd was a member of Pineview Baptist Church and is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband.

She is survived by her children, Talmadge L. Jr. and Sandra Todd of Reidsville, Jesse W. and Freeda Todd of Toombs Central, Carolyn and Raymond Todd of Brooklet, Rosie Ann and James E. Johnson of Headland, AL, and Earldine and Bruce Sanders of Vidalia; twelve grandchildren, twenty four great grandchildren, thirteen great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will begin at 6:00pm Friday from the Reidsville Chapel.  Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am Saturday July 27, 2013 from the Reidsville Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home with the Reverend Jesse Browning officiating.  Interment will follow in the Reidsville City Cemetery.

Pallbearers Bobby Sanders, Ricky Todd, Rodney Todd, Corey Todd, Phil Dees and Scott Dees.
