Evelyn Johnson, age 87 passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her family and under the care of Hospice of the Golden Isles. Evelyn was a native of Jasper, Alabama and had lived in Brunswick for the past 34 years. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family and truly loved taking care of her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Johnson.
She is survived by her sons, Raymond Harvill, Roger (Charlotte Mauney) Griffin, Steve (Carolyn Taylor) Griffin, Ronnie (Carol) Griffin, David Griffin; daughters, Jeanette (Robert) Hagood, Glenda (Steven) Perry, Tonya Watts; brother, Dennis Woods; grandson, Tre Kinsey, many other grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives also survive.
Private family services were held.
Low Country Cremation Services and Burial is serving the Johnson family.
