Lyons,
Mr. Frankie Humphrey, age 76, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Candler County Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 24, 1945 and was reared in Cobbtown moving to Toombs County 35 years ago. Frankie was a mechanic and was considered a “Jack of All Trades”. He loved to go fishing and cooking and is preceded in death by his parents, James Curtis Humphrey and Thelma Norton Humphrey; siblings, JC Humphrey, Irma Jean Holland, Willene Phillips and Nita Beasley.
He is survived by his wife, Lavon Holland of Lyons; children, Johnny Humphrey of Collins, James Humphrey of Alamo, Teresa Bowen of Reidsville and Blake Holland of Lyons; siblings, Eloise Sisson of Cobbtown, Shirley Champion of Florida, Ann Strickland of Savannah; special friends, Rodney Edenfield of Lyons, Melissa Ashberry, Paul DeLoach, Dean Curl all of Collins, and Roger Fields of Lyons; grandchildren, Haley Humphrey, Stacey Moore, Amanda Allison, Randy Humphrey, Brandi Tootle; 10 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Memorial funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm on Sunday, May 29, 2022 from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial with Mr. Walter Driggers officiating.
