Gary R. Wells, 79, a life-long resident of Bulloch County passed peacefully in the comfort of his own home, while surrounded by his loving family under the compassionate care of Ogeechee Area Hospice.  Our beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend has crossed into eternal peace and embraced his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Verna Wells; two brothers, James Wells and Randy Wells and two sisters, Barbara Wells and Betty NeSmith.

Gary, a devoted and loving father, is survived by his wife, Elise Wells; four children, daughter, Gidget McFearin; sons, Jamie Wells and Chris Wells, and youngest  daughter, Kristen NeSmith; brother and sister-in-law, Winton and Dorothy Wells, all from Bulloch County; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins, and many other family members and friends.

Visitation and a Memorial Service will be held at Brooklet First Baptist Church on Saturday, April 14th, 2018. Visitation will begin at 10:00am, with the Memorial Service at 11:000am and a family meal in the Social Hall immediately following the Memorial Service.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to https://www.gofundme.com/gary-wells-memorial-amp-crematory to help cover funeral expenses.
