Gary Ronald Westbrook

Mr. Gary R. Westbrook, age 66, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018 at his sister Sharon’s home in Glennville.  He had lived in Tattnall County most of his life except for when he lived in Cochran for twenty years.  Gary was known to have a strong work ethic while he worked as a heavy equipment operator and on the farms.  He was an avid fisherman and was of the Baptist faith.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Graham and Elizabeth Cowart and an infant son, Johnny Steven Westbrook.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Bryant Westbrook of Cochran; daughter, Jennifer Bryant of Cochran; siblings, Stacey (Tammy) Wilds of Reidsville and Sharon Lanier of Glennville; grandchildren, Brooke Reynolds and Blake Bryant both of Cochran; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 2, 2018 beginning at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial with the funeral services to follow at 3:00pm with the Reverend Mike Howard officiating.  Interment will follow in the Reidsville City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Brian Shaw, Blake Bryant, Jackson Meadows, Clint Wilds, Timothy Smith, and Andrew Meadows.
