Gene White, age 75 passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Greenwood, South Carolina to the late William and Annie Box White. He was reared in Fellsmere, Florida, living most of his life in Sebastian, Florida before moving to Collins 13 years ago. He was a member of Fellsmere First Baptist Church and was a diesel mechanic by trade. Mr. Gene was a member of the Metter Hunting Club and an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Sims White; daughter, Schwane Renee’ White.

He is survived by his daughter, Kim (Lance) Fogle of Sebastian, FL; siblings, Annette (Ed) Lanier of Collins, James Gerald (Terri) White of North Carolina and Steven Anthony White of Vero Beach, FL; grandchildren, Josh Felthousen, Sierra Felthousen and Chance Fogle; great-grandson, Ian Felthousen; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Services will be private.
