George Allen

Vidalia, GA.

Mr. George Allen, age 64, of Vidalia, passed away on October 21, 2024, at Memorial Health in Savannah, Georgia. Born in Forsyth, Georgia, George spent most of his life there before moving to Toombs County in 2011 to be closer to family.

George was a skilled mechanic and a true enthusiast of all things automotive. He had a deep love for muscle cars, antique cars, and Harley Davidson motorcycles, often dedicating his time to restoring and caring for these cherished machines. Outside of his work and hobbies, George enjoyed the thrill of yard sales, the hunt of antiquing, and, above all, the joy of spending time with his beloved grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, George Allen Sr., and his mother, Gwendolyn Allen.

George leaves behind his loving wife, Susan Allen, and his ex-wife, Derelyn Copeland. He is also survived by his four children, Chris Allen, Scott Turner, Tiffany Adams (husband, Ceasar Adams), and James Allen (wife, Ledaisha Allen), along with his six treasured grandchildren: Jayda Allen, Ceasar Adams Jr., Haiden Allen, Hunter Allen, Kai Allen, and Alani Adams.

George will be remembered for his kindness, his humor, and his passion for life’s simple joys. His family and friends will miss him deeply, but they take comfort in the memories they shared with him.
