George "GW" Horne

George "GW" Horne, age 79 passed away Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Glenvue Health and Rehabilitation. He was a native of Eastman and lived in Dublin most of his life. George was a member of Greater Life Church in Lyons and was a retired barber. An avid musician, playing the steel guitar, he loved to fish and fellowship with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Faye Horne; children, Lori (Brad) Nowell, and Darren Horne all of Dexter, GA; grandchildren, Xandi Nowell, Anna Nowell and Jamie Nowell; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will begin 10:00A.M., Tuesday, April 28, 2015 with funeral services to follow at 11:00 A.M., from the Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home and Crematory with the Reverend Ricky Jones officiating. Interment will be in Bay Springs Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Eastman.

In lieu of flowers, a benevolent fund has been set up for George at Dexter Assembly of God, P.O. Box 26, Dexter, GA. 31019.
