George Edward McNeal

George E. McNeal, age 46, passed away Monday, July 13, 2020 at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah. He was born in Claxton on September 11, 1973 to George and Gladys Webber McNeal and had  lived there for most of his life. He was employed with Claxton Cold Storage for 25 years and was of the Baptist Faith. In his spare time, he enjoyed working out, lifting weights, walking and reading. He loved all sports but most of all, he thoroughly enjoyed watching WWE wrestling.  He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his brother, Michael McNeal of Arkadelphia, AR; aunt, Donna Helfman of Moultrie, GA; nephew, Noah McNeal of Wills Point, TX; cousins, Richard Helfman of Baltimore, MD., Patricia Rogers of Moultrie, GA., Elaine Johnson of Metter, GA. and Pamela Plymel of Moultrie, GA; lifelong friends, Richard Friend of Laurel, MD., Douglas Todd and Jason Clark both of Claxton.

Visitation will be held from 1:00pm to 2:00pm, Saturday, July 18, 2020 from the Chapel of Glennville Funeral Home with  funeral services to follow at 2:00pm. Services will conclude at the Chapel.
