Geraldine Mincey Anderson, age 101 passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Senior Care Center in Brunswick. She was a native of Alma and had lived in Patterson for most of her life. Mrs. Geraldine was a homemaker and was currently the oldest member of Patterson Baptist Church where she was a member of the Joy Sunday School Class and the Missionary Women’s Club. She loved cooking and most would say that she was the world’s best cook. She was preceded in death by her husband, Estes L. Anderson; daughter, Barbara Lashley; grandchildren, Lisa Gordon and David Lashley.

She is survived by her daughter, Frances Boatright of Brunswick; grandchildren, Mark (Shannon) Hambrick of San Antonio, TX, Scott (Crystal) Hambrick of Brunswick, Sharon (Steve) Covart of Jacskonville, FL; step-grandchildren, Maria Smith and Marlene Smith both of Brunswick; 5 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson; also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and her dear friend, Joann Denison of Patterson.

Visitation will begin at 10:00am, Monday, April 16, 2018 with funeral services to follow 11:00am at Patterson Baptist Church with Reverend Roswell James and Reverend Jerry Price officiating. Interment will follow at Patterson Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Patterson Baptist Church, Building Fund, P.O. Box 385, Patterson, GA. 31557.
