Gerrell Arnold, age 44, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah. The Toombs County native had lived in Evans County most of his life moving to Tattnall County ten years ago. He was in the pulp wood business. Gerrell is preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Nell Arnold; brother, Lloyd McGlashan; and sisters, Lisa Mandoza and Janet Lee McGlashan.
He is survived by his children, Cayle (Sergio) Esteban and Caleb Gerrell Arnold all of Claxton; father, Willard (Melita) Arnold of Reidsville; siblings, Shirley Arnold of Reidsville, Marie Arnold of Glennville, Bobby Lee Arnold of Reidsville, Earnest McGlashan and James (Vickie) McGlashan all of Cobbtown; grandchildren, Jasmin and Daleyza Esteban; several nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00pm on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 from the Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home & Crematory with the graveside services to follow at 3:00pm from Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church Cemetery near Lyons with the Reverend William Prince officiating. Interment will follow.
Pallbearers will be Corey Kirkland, RJ Arnold, Tracy Arnold, Frankie Walker, Shane Arnold and Bobby Lee Arnold.
Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home & Crematory is serving the Arnold family.
