Gloria A. (Pearson) Jenkins

Gloria Pearson Jenkins , age 82, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2015 at her residence with her daughter, Debra Lynn at her side.  The Chatham County native had lived in Savannah most of her life moving to Reidsville fifteen years ago.  She was a retired Supervisor working 38yrs with Tetley Tea.  She enjoyed going to Southern Gospel Sings.  Sister Jenkins was a member of Lakeview Praise and Worship and was preceded in death by her brother, Robert E. Pearson.

She is survived by her husband of 62yrs, The Reverend Ernest V. Jenkins; children, Debra Lynn Rowan, Ernest V. Jenkins, Jr., Stephen Jeffrey Jenkins, Gloria Michelle Jenkins Aldrich, Tiffany Rene Jenkins Ray, and Andrew Matthew Jenkins; brother, EW Pearson; eleven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00pm on Thursday, June 11, 2015 with the funeral services to follow at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home & Crematory.  Interment will follow in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville.

Pallbearers will be Trey Smiley, Brandon Jenkins, Andrew Jenkins, Ronald Aldrich, Joey Ray and Cody Ray.
