Gloria (McCumber) Yeomans

Mrs. Gloria McCumber Yeomans, age 83, passed away Friday, March 10, 2017 at the Tattnall Healthcare in Reidsville. The lifelong Tattnall County resident was a homemaker that loved to go fishing and cooking for her family.  She especially loved growing and selling vegetables with her husband.   She was also a lifelong Jehovah Witness and is preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.

Mrs. Yeomans is survived by her husband of 63 years, Marcus Mitchell Yeomans of Reidsville; children, Calvin Mitchell Yeomans of Reidsville,  Patricia Lee “Patty” (Bud) Jernigan of Andersonville, GA,; and Karen Amy (Dean) McLeod of Reidsville; several brothers and sisters; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday beginning at 6:00pm from the funeral home.  Funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm Sunday, March 12, 2017 from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial.  Interment will follow in the Stoney Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
