Grace M. Simons, age 76 passed away Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Pine Pointe Hospice Facility. Grace was the second oldest child of the late Daniel Paul Dorn and Grace Harris Bordley. She was born May 16, 1941 in Princeton New Jersey.  It is with grateful hearts and minds that we praise God for the life of our dear loved one Grace.

Grace, had many God given talents, but first and foremost, she was the loving mother of five sons. She was truly gifted as a professional tailor. She was a fun loving, positive spirit who led a fearless and adventurous life. She went to college after her sons were grown, got her degree and did university level counseling in New York and Georgia on drug abuse and HIV awareness.  She is preceded in death by sons Lewis "Tee" Freeman, Victor "Safi" Freeman, Carroll "Ricky" Freeman and her oldest brother, Hubert Ellis.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories by her loving siblings; Staajabu, Dee (Charles) Neal, Daniel "Junie" Dorn, Jr., Keith "Twink" (Cynthia) Greer; amazing children, her sons, Bernard (Virginia) Freeman, Jr., Darren "Macho" (Tonisha) Freeman, Sr., adoring grandchildren, Tavein & Valerie Freeman, LaTonya & Gabriel Hicks, Theresa & Richard Brewster, Traveice & Donte Taylor, Victor Freeman, Jr., Precious Clark, Darren Freeman, Jr., Terrence Freeman, Tangaray Freeman, Kaswanuh Freeman, Ayanuh Freeman and Anthony Freeman. There are also a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends.

Services will be held at a later date.

Low Country Cremation and Burial is serving the Simons family.
