Obituary
Mrs. Grace “Fatback” Tidwell
age 71 passed away
Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at the Glenvue Health
and Rehab surrounded by her family and under the
care of Spanish Oaks Hospice. She was a lifelong
resident of Tattnall County that loved to fish, camp
and work in her yards. Mrs. Grace worked many
years at the Glenvue Nursing Home and was a
member of the Reidsville Church of God. She is
preceded in death by her parents, Cleo “Screwdriver”
Lynn, Norman and Dosia Padgett; daughter, Angela Heather
Tidwell; son, DeweyUlmer III; sister, Barbara Jean Sellers.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years John Tidwell of Reidsville; Sons, James,
Johnny and Richard Ulmer all of Reidsville, Wayne Ulmer of Statesboro, Joey Ulmer
of Cobbtown, Michael Tidwell of Guyton, Billy Tidwell of Mt. Vernon; Daughters, Betty
Willis and Peggy Ulmer both of Reidsville; Twenty two grandchildren, sixteen great-
grandchildren also survive.
Visitation and Funeral Services
Visitation will begin at 6:00pm Friday from the Reidsville Chapel.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am Saturday, March 17, 2012 from the Reidsville Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home with Chaplain Arnie Raj officiating. Interment will follow in the Little Flock Church Cemetery near Collins.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Willis, Christopher Ulmer, Matthew Ulmer, Scott Ulmer, Keith Ulmer and Kevin Ulmer.
Honorary pallbearers will be Lee Willis, Billy Stanfield, Justin Stanfield and Tadpole Eason.
