: Gregory Byron Hatcher
age 56 passed Monday, July 4, 2011, at his residence in Savannah. The Chatham County native had lived in Savannah most of his life. He was a retired electrician working many years at International Paper. Mr. Hatcher was the past president and a little league coach at Hendrix Park Recreation Department and was an avid Calvary Day Supporter. He had a passion for history, especially anything to do with the Civil War. He was a loving and caring son, father, grandfather, and brother. He is preceded in death by his father, Byron Hatcher.
He is survived by his wife, Denise Hatcher of Savannah
Children, Angel Hatcher Kiley (Dan), Hollie Hatcher, Byron Hatcher, Nathan Hatcher, and Nicole Hatcher, all of Savannah.
Mother, Corrie Hatcher of Savannah.
Sister, Debra Hatcher Williams of Savannah.
Six grandchildren, Kale Hoppmann, Finn Hoppmann, Sophie Pevey, Alyssa Kiley, Meredith Kiley, and Olivia Kiley.
Visitation will be from 4:00pm to 6:30pm at the Sanctuary, 8912 Whitefield Avenue Savannah, GA. On Thursday July 7, 2011
Funeral Services will be conducted at 7:00pm at the Sanctuary on Thursday. Interment will follow at 10:00am on Friday from the Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
Memorials maybe given to Georgia Historical Society or Calvary Day Athletics.
