Glennville,
Mrs. Harriet Wynell Cox DeLoach, age 71 passed away Saturday July 20, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah. The Woodbine native had lived in Glennville most of her life. She was a retired nurse working many years at the Glenvue Nursing Home and was a member of the Little Rock Baptist Church. Mrs. Harriet loved to read and watch murder mysteries. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph DeLoach; parents, Tom and Hattie Cox; brothers, Lucius and Wilbur Cox.
She is survived by her children, Raymond and Ann DeLoach of Claxton, and Roger and Shonda DeLoach of Glennville; brothers, Alton (Betty) Cox and John (Latrelle) Cox all of Woodbine; sister, Barbara Ann Cooper of Waverly; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 6:00pm on Monday from the Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home Glennville Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00pm Tuesday July 23, 2013 from the Little Rock Baptist Church with the Reverends Shon Cunningham and Bryan Anderson officiating.
