Harry D. “Wayne” Dees, age 56 passed away Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Ogeechee Area Hospice. Wayne was a native of Claxton and lived there all of his life. He worked in the family roofing business, loved to fish and spend time with his family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Dees and his mother, Betty Wilds.

He is survived by his brother, Kerry Cannon of Blackshear; grandmother, Linnie Dees of Metter; aunt, Debbie (Pratt) Stubbs of Metter; special cousins, Tommy Dees of Statesboro and T.J. Dees of Claxton; also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held 1:00pm-1:45pm, Sunday, February 12, 2017 from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial. Graveside services will follow at 2:00pm from the  Brewton Cemetery with the Reverend Chuck Jonas officiating.

Low Country Cremation and Burial is serving the Dees family.
