Helen (Anderson) Hughes , 68, of Reidsville, Georgia passed away Sunday, October 8, 2017, at the Community Hospice Inpatient Center in Vidalia, Georgia.  She was a long time employee of Georgia Home Health.  She was preceded in death by her father, George Anderson, Sr., her mother, Nadine Anderson; brothers, Steve Anderson, George (Pat) Anderson, Jr. and Earl Anderson; daughters, Gloria Jean and Sybil Grace Anderson, and a granddaughter, Ashley Nicole Stubbs as well as several aunts and uncles.

Helen enjoyed spending time with her friends, reading, loved traveling in Europe in her younger years, but her most precious gifts were her sons, Tommy  and Terry Stubbs.

She will be missed by all those who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Tommy Stubbs of Reidsville, Georgia, Terry Stubbs (Rosanna) of Fort Smith, Arkansas; her sister, Connie Mitchell (Bernice) of Claxton, Georgia; a sister in law, Gwen Anderson of Glennville, Georgia;  grandchildren, Terry Ryan Stubbs (Kelsey) of Muldrow, Oklahoma, Kyle Stubbs of Pembroke, Georgia, Lindsey Stubbs (Tyler) of Muldrow, Oklahoma, Tori Padgett of Glennville, Georgia, and Haley Stubbs of Roland, Oklahoma and 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be James Dixon, Alan Edenfield, Gary Smith, Terry Ryan Stubbs, Tyler Lesley and Gary Smith, Jr.

The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.  Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm Wednesday, October 11, 2017 from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial with the Dr. Chuck Jonas officiating.  Interment will follow in the Reidsville City Cemetery.
