Helen (Moncus) Lane

Mrs. Helen Lane, age 78, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2022 at Memorial Health Meadows in Vidalia.  She was born on August 6, 1944 in Vidalia to Gene and Mildred Louise Atkins Moncus and had lived in this area most of her life.  She was last employed with Optim Medical Center in Reidsville in the Medical Records Department.  Mrs. Helen enjoyed reading and playing video games on her telephone.  She was of the Methodist Faith and is preceded in death by her parents and the father of her sons, J.H. Brand.

She is survived by her sons and daughters in law, Allen and Candace Brand of Martinez, Michael and Kelly Brand of Vidalia and Billy and Bridgette Brand of Lyons; sister, Patricia Monday of Alabama; 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; 3 nephews and 2 nieces.

Memorial funeral services will be conducted 4:00pm Tuesday, December 13, 2022 from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial with Reverend Russell Gladding officiating.

Memorials may be given to the Charity of the Donor’s choice.
