Hilario Requena

Hilario Requena, age 55, passed away Monday, May 24, 2021 at Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia.  He was born in Mexico and had lived in Claxton for the past 15 years.  He loved to spend time with his family and friends.  His favorite pastime was going to his Church, Christian Ministries The Potter's House.

He is survived by his siblings, Alfonso Rivera of Mexico, Javier Navarro of Mexico, Avelina Flores of Iowa, Maria Rivera of Mexico, Elias Rojas of Alabama, Rosa Martinez of Claxton, Maria Lara of Claxton, Sandra Guerrero of Mexico, Elsa Esquivel of Claxton and Mario Esquivel of Claxton, numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends beginning at 3:30pm on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at the funeral home.  Graveside funeral services will be conducted 10:00am on Friday, May 28, 2021 from the Brewton Cemetery in Hagan.

Pallbearers will be Victor Martinez, Alberto Morales, Francisco Rivas, Mario Esquivel, Elias Rojas, Victor Martinez, Jr.
