Hildegard (Kunz) Bush

Ms. Hildegard Bush, age 78, passed away Friday, October 4, 2019 at the Glenvue Health Rehab Center in Glennville under the care of Spanish Oaks Hospice. The Germany native had lived in Georgia most of her life. She retired from Derst Baking Company after many years of service. Ms. Bush loved to sight see, crocheting, baking, and doing crafts. Her favorite past time was spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses and was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel James Bush.

She is survived by her children, Kathy (Johnny) Finch of Reidsville,Samuel James Bush, Jr, Billy Joe (Susie) Bush of Claxton, and Danny Bush of North Carolina; sister, Elfriede Nowakowski of Canada; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends beginning at 10:30am on Wednesday October 9, 2019 at the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial with the funeral services to start at noon with Dr. Charles Jonas officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville.

Low Country Cremation and Burial is serving the Bush family.
