Hoke T. Taylor

Hoke T. Taylor, age 77, passed away Wednesday February 13, 2019 at Community Hospice in Vidalia.  He was born in Vidalia on April 7, 1941 to Horace T. and Tempie Caraway Taylor.  He had lived in Georgia and Texas most of his life.  Hoke was a US Navy Veteran and had retired from General Motors. He loved to fish, hunt and his favorite pastime was sitting on his porch.  He was attending English Eddy Church and was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Travis James, Helen Blaxton, and Harley Taylor.

He is survived by his children, Hoke R. Taylor of Arizona, Kimla Poe of Arkansas, Michael Taylor of Arkansas, and Christopher Taylor of Missouri; mother of his children, Ann Taylor of Arkansas; sisters, Marjorie Hower of Hawkinsville, Betty Braddy of South Carolina, and Juanita Wilson of Vidalia; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews; special friend, Melissa Conner of Uvalda.

Funeral services will be private.

Low Country Cremation and Burial is serving the Taylor family.
