Mr. Watson “Bubba” "Wrong Way" Prestage, Jr. age 69, passed away Monday, January 24, 2022 at his daughter Lissi’s home in Trenton, South Carolina. He was born on November 7, 1952 in Reidsville to Horace Watson and Geraldine Thompson Prestage, Sr. and had lived in Tattnall County most of his life. Watson was an US Air Force Veteran and had retired from Plant Hatch after 41 years of service. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle with the US Military Vets Motorcycle Club and when he was younger, he would participate with Cowboy Shoots. Watson also was a certified scuba diver and is a member of the Reidsville Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Ronald and Dale Prestage.
He is survived by his daughters and sons in law, Krista and Chad Kennedy of Glennville and Lissi and Daniel Brazell of Trenton, SC; siblings, Diane Prestage, Anita Prestage, and Donald Prestage all of Reidsville. Grandchildren, Trinity Brazell, Ethan Brazell, Cooper Kennedy, Piper Kennedy and Kaden Brazell; 3 nieces and several great nephews.
The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00pm on Friday, January 28, 2022 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm on Saturday, January 29, 2022 from the Chapel of the Glennville Funeral Home with the Reverend Rachael Harrelson officiating. Interment will follow in the Reidsville City Cemetery with military honors rendered by the US Air Force.
