Mr. Howard Lamb age 88, of Collins passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at Optim Medical Center of Tattnall .The Oak Park native had lived in Collins most of his life. He retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation, Highway Division after a lengthy career. He enjoyed working in his yard especially cutting the grass. He was a member of Collins Baptist Church and is preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Mary Lamb in September of 2013; a grandson, Keith Conner and a granddaughter, Amey Lynn
Mr. Lamb is survived by his daughters, Carolyn (Gary) Durden of Twin City and Karen Rich (Jeff Inglett) of Collins; grandchildren, Don (Pam) Conner, Kristie (Juan) Rodriguez, Todd Durden and Wesley(Stacy) Lynn; eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Friday from the Reidsville Chapel. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00am Saturday, December 28, 2013 from the Reidsville Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home with the Reverend Steve Kimbrell officiating. Interment will follow in the Little Flock Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Wesley Lynn, Tim Oliver, Mike Oliver, Freddie Spell, Tracy Johnson and Ron Clark.
