Hulon Tharpe, 79, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017. He was born in Wrightsville, Georgia to the late Leon and Orilla Tharpe. He is preceded in death by his son, Christopher Tharpe and sister, Elaine Tingle.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Patcene Tharpe; sons, DeWayne Tharpe (Shannon) and Tracy Tharpe; granddaughters, Summer Thigpen (Jarrett), Rachel Foskey (Brad), Delana Key (Justin), Samantha Tharpe; his sister, Leonell Scarboro of Harrison, Georgia.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, April 30, 2017 at 3:00pm at his home church, First Christian Church of Centerville located at 810 Collins Avenue, Centerville with Pastor Willie Crosby officiating.
Special thanks to the caretakers and staff at Warner Robins Rehabilitation and DaVita Dialysis.
Low Country Cremation and Burial is serving the Tharpe family.
